I don't get how people like old Stewie better.

He was a lot funnier when he was a mastermind that showed hints of gay every now and then. Now it's just flaming retardation.

The perfect Stewie character was the episode where he had Ledonne (sp?) as his babysitter and he tied her boyfriend up and threw him in the trunk of the car and forgot about him.

Family Guy has gone to shite.

It was never that great...The Simpsons and Southpark are and have always been better...

I don't hate Family Guy, but I do think it is overrated.

I've actually been satisfied with this season so far. But in general, I like the older FG episodes more than the newer ones. Especially the last couple of seasons.

I like evil Stewie more than gay Stewie, but both are funny. I wish they'd just incorporate both. That way, you could still have regular Stewie with a little gay/evil mixed in. The problem is when they do it to death.

And I actually don't mind the flashbacks. Well, most of them at least.

I agree, that's right where Stewie should be.

The original seasons were much better than the new ones. Its like they took what people found funny in the beginning and then just took it all over the top and ruined the humor.

An example is the random jokes. They use to have like 3 or 4 completely random jokes and clips, now its almost the whole show is a random clip that has nothing to do with the show, and its just boring.

that's pretty much exactly how I feel. I haven't liked family guy since they started making new episodes. I remember really liking the old reruns after the show had already been canceled.

The new episodes are just retarded. I feel stupid watching them.

I just don't see much of a difference.

Most of the time when people start these old vs. new family guy threads, some people finally admit they don't even watch the new family guy.

So they make their judgments on assumptions and not based on actually watching the show.

I think the show is almost the same except for a few things.

1.It is far more political now. Way too liberal at times.
2.Stewie used to like girls but there was also the gay undercurrent. Now there is no undercurrent.
3.Evil Stewie has for the most part been replaced by Gay Stewie which sucks.

I think the rest of the cast is about the same.

I don't see much off a difference in quality. Some episodes are funny and some suck. No different than the first few seasons.

Seth MacFarland = liberal douche.

"Family Guy" has gone from being one of the funniest, edgiest shows on TV to just being a platform for MacFarland to espouse his cause du jour.
