Yeah I saw it. Sorry for the phrasing.

This is oddly phrased
His lady friend may have been Lauren Boebert, and he was significantly distracted.

Just turn your brain off and enjoy. I think we can be so over critical sometimes that it just zaps all the joy out of everything. Something im very guilty of.

I loved Gran Turismo 2 years ago

I watched it last night, loved it. This is the type of film you go to the movies for. Joseph Kosinski is a very talented director. Go support this film!

I saw it and really enjoyed it. Just a good, solid theatre experience that's worth the price of admission.
It does have some flaws, including the obvious of Pitt being too old to race modern F1, but the race scenes, camera work and technical aspects are outstanding and the storyline and character development are a lot better than I anticipated. It might miss the mark for people who know nothing about racing or people who are diehard F1 enthusiasts that will groan at some of the race developments, but I think casual sports fans will love it and there's a Pitt love story to keep women interested.
This will grow legs and make bank, just like the Top Gun sequel.

It's tropey and cheesy, but freaking awesome. I had a blast watching it in Imax.

Yeah I liked it
Could’ve done without the romance plot
But I enjoyed it
And it sure felt a lot like Driven.
But Brad Pitt is so good in this role.

Watch Rush. It will unfool you.
Rush is my will watch racing movie every time it's on (or will fire it up on streaming).
For folks who have seen both, how does F1 compare?

I’d love to take the whole family to this one. Anything out of bounds for a 12 yo or 7 yo?

I did and he’s correct.
Basically Top Gun: Maverick but in an F1 car.
Great movie, but predictable and honestly made me question how much they really knew about F1 and that type of racing.
But the action was snappy and the story lines moved. Love interest with the girl boss attitude was not needed.

Sweet. Thanks.
Imax or Dolby is a must

Rush is a more-compelling (obviously true) story and might have better acting, but F1 is a lot of fun. Like everyone said - it is Maverick in a race car. The scenes at Daytona, Spa, and Yas Marina are incredible. Pitt basically plays Cliff Booth again, and I’m ok with that.

Saw it, and really enjoyed it in spite of flaws.
Racing translates much better than other sports to the screen.

Rush is a better movie and has a better story.
F1 has great racing action.

Probably 8 F bombs interspersed
No nudity during their sex scene but you know they’ve done it
Other than that it’s fine
