This is a much better trailer. They dropped the tired green hue and looks to be in the same spirit as the original.

Am I the only horror fan that hated the entire Evil Dead trilogy?

I'm not a fan. The hole theme of injecting stupid humor in with horror just doesn't work for me.

This looks...disturbing. There were some scenes in that trailer that I had to look away from. It looks a lot darker than the second Bruce Campbell Evil Dead (never saw the original)

Looks like a must see for any horror fan. Pretty disturbing image of the tongue cutting.

well the original ED is a solid low budget horror movie

i don't hold the 2nd sacred like many

AoD is a silly adventure movie with comedy

This is one of those movies that shouldn't be remade imo. You can't recapture the magic of the originals.

I love the original Evil Dead, but it was really hard to get a copy of it until recently. It was also made for about five bucks. I have no problem with remaking it, as it doesn't ruin the cult classic nature of the original.

Hell, Evil Dead 2 is essentially a remake of Evil Dead.

This looks awesome, BTW. Can't wait.

yeah i don't see how somebody can like horror movies and not like evil dead, especially if you can watch horror movies from the past and/or low budget horror movies that don't have high production qualities

the rhythm of the girl in the basement banging the door is so awesome for long stretches of that movie
