Really enjoyed this one. The sequel was...less good.

The World's Fastest Indian
Breaking Away (maybe close to the 10% or even a bit higher but a gem)
The Man Who Would Be King (fairly big movie but 51 years ago and I don't see it re-run much, Sean Connery and Michael Caine make a great duo)

Corinne Bohrer's nude scene, the bush specifically, burned itself into my young brain.
Also, RQ hadn't gone completely batshit yet.
Dan Jenkins's books are quick easy reads if you need to kill some time at the beach.

All great. I even thought about adding Breaking Away. For 80s kids, it was always on HBO or one of the movie channels.
What I have learned from this thread is I used to watch everything but around 2005 my movie watching took a huge hit and was replaced by binge watching tv shows. When the weekly trip to Blockbuster went away, my movie knowledge disappeared.

I just read the synopsis of Happiness.
Not sure why the frick that would be classified as a black comedy. It’s an Epstein Stag Film.
fricking gross.

I always recommend this movie but I have a feeling more than 10% of the board has seen this.
Similarly, In Bruges, but this board loves that movie.

Jekyll and Hyde… Together Again, 1982

Hyde: “Man has not evolved one whit beyond the slime that spawned him”

My answer for these threads is always the same: Cadence (1990).
Charlie Sheen is put into a military prison and is placed in an all-black barracks. Lawrence Fishburne (billed as "Larry" IIRC) is the sort of leader of it. And it's about how much Sheen doesn't fit in. Martin Sheen is the warden
Dammit, I was hoping I beat you here, this was gonna be mine and I knew it would be yours

I’ve seen The Fountain. It’s odd but help my interest. Similar to Melancholia.

I find it to be one of the most painful, breathtaking movies to explore loss and love I have ever seen.
