Actually, people can change. And it's not like they were hooking up. It was high schoolers texting.

But regardless, what part of that story line did you want to keep going?

Nate and Jules have moved on since high school and are doing their own thing but you just wanted the story to keep some hidden gay texting going on or something?

I thought it looked really good, much better surgeon skills than I was picturing for Mexico

Just finished it. The whole third season was a strange mess, and the end was rushed, but they wrapped it up about as well as they could have. I liked the last episode. It doesn't ruin the whole series like some shows. One day I will do a re-watch (I've only watched through the series once).

I read an article about the actress who played the hot daughter at the homestead. Apparently the scene where Ali said grace was the first scene they filmed (before the scene where Ali arrives with the news). And the first camera angle they set up was the close-up on the hot daughter. Just before they rolled, Sam told the actress that she had a fake script, and to just react to Ali's monologue. She had no idea Rue had died until Ali revealed it while they were rolling. That's some good director shite.

Buddy, what you don't get is that that storyline was over. Nobody, and I mean nobody, ended season two thinking "What about Nate possibly being gay???????" I'll as you again, what would you have liked to have seen done to continue that story line?

People move on after high school. Nate and Jules moved on just like 99% of people that go to high school together do. Or did you just want to see a story line in season three of Nate internally battling with some homosexual tendencies?

They through in some Nate and his dad conflict resolution but could only do it so much given the actor that played his dad was about to die.

I don't either. I personally wouldn't even consider Nate truly gay but if someone does there's certainly an argument for it. But I think a person could suppress feelings he might have had and live a happy life like he possibly could have had with Cassie/had a straight relationship. My sister has a friend that was gay when she was younger and has now been happily married to a man for a long time. People can change. Especially from your high school days.
