Not bad, it's actually kinda sweet, but it makes sense why they cut it. It was either this or the funeral, and the funeral was the better option.

There were parts of it I liked (Hawkeye, seeing Gamora, Cap) but yeah, they picked the right one. The funeral was better.

It would've been cooler if Cap was the one that did what Hawkeye did.

As a side note, that scene where Stark goes off on him after getting back to Earth was RDJ’s best acting in IW or EG.

Something like this I agree with.
Particularly the Gamora part. Both makes it clear she lived and how apart this version is from the overall group.
I guess they omitted the entire sequence because if they did that, it would cause people to wonder why only Hawkeye gave a damn
