I’m a conservative and believe every person is fearfully and wonderfully made by God and think it’s incredibly sad that she has been deluded into giving up her life as a woman based on a lie. I have referred to her throughout this thread and others as a woman.
Given what nolan did with that character casting page is about as spot on with the intended storyline as possible.
The only thing that took me out of the movie at all was feeling bad for page the person to have been so twisted to do something like that to herself because this is the first time I had heard her talk or see her act since inception.

Because I am not upset that a transperson got portrayed in a manner befitting of their stature in a rated R movie that is clearly marketed to adults?
I understand there are people who are trans in this world. I also understand that they will never find fulfillment trying to live out a life they weren’t created to do. Which is exactly what happened to Sinon.
This isn’t a movie to groom kids.
It’s a movie marketed to adults with consistent moral themes throughout.

Transgendered people exist.
I don’t think preventing them from having a job is a good solution to stop the problem.
Being honest about how there are still genetic differences-maybe a good start.
