The only way to get this board interested in this movie is if you tell them that the Will Smith's character was originally written to be white.

Yeah, very few right now want to root on the insanely privileged, pompous & cucked Will Smith playing an oppressed character who triumphs over unimaginable injustice.

Stop with underdog/hero roles, Will. Play into your villain status, except lose the Count Dracula accent you delivered in this one.

I think WS is perfectly cast as the 'kept' man. So timely.

Shouldn’t we be about due for a WWII/Holocaust/Nazi movie?

If you mean the one based on a very small company of diverse individuals that "won" the war, then yes, its coming out in a few months.

I wouldn't necessarily call it a slap in the face but there does come a point where it's beating a dead horse and overkill. We get it, there was once slavery in the United States.

See Bill Burr's stand-up special.

He has a bit where he says these movies are for no one.

He says: "I talk with my black friends and ask, you guys like these movies? And they say, hell no, we you thought you guys liked them." And he basically says, hell no we don't like them...Roots was on all week and I had to turn it off."
