I loved it. One of my favorite movies from the year it came out (last year? two years ago?)

Excited about the possibility of a "District 10"

And we all knew that going in. How could you not ?

I don't worry about all that. I want to be entertained when I go to the movies. Nothing more. I loved the movie.

I just couldn't believe how realistic the prawns were. It might have been the best special effects of all time.

I loved it. The biology of the prawns was awesome. Great acting by Sarlto Copley as well.

I dug it. I liked the semi-documentary style which you usually don't see crossing with sci-fi & action genres.

Great movie. Looked impressive for such a modest budget. Not your typical Sci fi film. A huge surprise for me, and one of my favorite of the year. Tremendous acting job by Copley. If you walked out early, that's a shame. It picks up, and the last 30-45 mins rock.

Thought it was one of the best sci-fi movies I'd seen in a long time. Also thought it was one of the best movies I saw that year.

I loved it. I liked the whole documentary -> horror -> action transitions, and I thought Copley gave a Daniel Day Lewis -esque performance.

Especially since he barely even qualifies as being an actor. I think I read somewhere he didnt even want to be an actor, I think he wanted to be a writer. Either way, he was great.
And the movie had a very low budget, wich makes the special effects even more impressive.

Interesting.

That's exactly why a lot of people I know who aren't big syfy fans did like it.

Just watched it on Netflix.

I was very disappointed and not just the "inhumanity of humans" political bend.

It just seemed like a joke or cliche the whole time. Even the Nigerians were cartoonish and stereotyped.
