Video games, Disney Hate, Disney Shills, Marvel mentions, Rotten Tomatoes scores, initial reviewers vs. real reviewers, Gal Gadot, Farquaad

This thread has it all. Well done.

Think of the type of people rushing out to see this and take their views with a grain of salt.

I saw a clip of the usual woke suspects trying desperately to defend this movie and all of them said the same thing...."it's not THAT bad"....that was about as passionate and over-the-top they could muster.

If it wasn't a waste of time and actual good?

Reviews wouldn't be mixed due to the side the media is on over the controversy.... It would've been hailed as better than sliced bread.

All I see is a Hispanic chick. She looks nothing like Snow White

Supposedly, they even changed the reason she is named Snow White. It has nothing to do with her skin being white as snow as in the original fairy tale, now she received the name because she was born during a snow storm, or some such bullshite.

Well they kinda had to do that considering who they cast. Itd be weirder to keep it based on her skin being super pale.

Im expecting audience reviews to be bad to middling

Just got out of it with my daughter. I agree, best live action remake since the jungle book. Great acting all around. All of the twists made sense and no woke stuff was shoe horned in. Really missing out if you choose not to see it but it deserves high praise.

That’s what $100 million worth of reshoots will give you. A new film.

Then she's not really Snow White, at least not in the sense of being the character created by the Brothers Grimm. It's weird that Disney changed so much about the story but decided to keep the true love's kiss despite the fact that so many woke women were saying that it was non-consensual and basically akin to assault.

Honestly, the only reviews that should matter are those of the target audience -- Moms and Daughters. So, if the mommy bloggers like it, it hit the mark. It was never going to be the technical marvel the first one was. It was designed to be a good and safe movie for moms and daughters.

If adult males go to see this movie alone, they either are on a watchlist or should be.

It's Snow White. The original is far more culturally significant that just "moms and daughters," and this one should have been also.

The target audience is not just for "moms and daughters". Disney does make any movie for a specific audience anymore. Case in point all the new Star Wars movies and series. If they made the movie specifically for SW fans, they would be making more money and not have to cancel projects or write off any losses.

Same would go for their Marvel movies/series. They are trying to broaden their audience while forgoing what made the animated movies special to everyone who has seen it.

If a dude walks into a theater to watch this alone that dude is a creep.

Every time I see a promo pic of her for this movie, I think Lord Farquaad before I think Snow White.

I won't be in the theater to judge. It's just a fact that if a guy walks into snow white alone he's gonna be looked at as a creep.

That's how you know we aren't the target audience

$270 million to appeal to a niche audience?

I highly doubt that. . .but Disney has been fricking retarded recently. . .making Star Wars for gays and such.

Is it weird for men to watch it alone? Yes.

Is it weird for a Dad to bring his kids, even if they are boys? No.

It is marketed to be a movie for families, Men are in the families. . .at least in my demographic.

This is like when morons tried to pretend Star Wars movies are just for kids. It's very transparent. We all know everything you're saying here is false, and not at all what Disney intended.

Dude go watch snow white by yourself if you want to. Im sure noone will say anything.

Barbie appealed to the same "niche" audience (albeit older) and did pretty well.

I had no clue Snow White was "The Disney Princess for middle aged men"

I have no interest in this movie. Your reasons are not why.

Correct.

Snow White is not a "niche" property and is not comparable to Barbie.

The original Snow White is one of the best selling movies of all time. It literally built Walt Disney's company. You make yourself look more like an idiot every time you repeat this nonsense.
