Or maybe Jonah saw that the script sucked, wasn't funny, and would likely damage his reputation as a comedic actor if he played in it? Jonah Hill hasn't been in a bad film yet (maybe aside from Click, but no one remembers that), so maybe he decided he didn't want to make a quick easy buck so people would not remember him as that douche from Transformers 2. That was certainly a good career move for him.
The Leo you saw on screen was not the Leo they wrote for Jonah Hill. Hell the characters name wasn't even Leo and the writers even offered to let him have a big sayso in his character's demeanor and lines. They even doubled the original monetary offer they made him and he said no. For a guy whose biggest movie credit up until that point was Superbad, that is a pretty big (and foolish) stand to take.
As for him not being in a bad film other than Click, he blew donkey dick in Evan Almighty, Get Him to The Greek, The Invention of Lying, and Night at the Smithsonian.

I'd bet a million dollars that you have not seen Citizen Kane. Plus she was right outside the door, likely listening in to make sure nothing happened to him. Not a plot hole.
I'll take that bet and enjoy watching you try to pay it.
So let's say she was right outside the door. That door was at least 15-20 feet away and it's not like he screamed it. Guy was on his last breath and probably whispered it.
Still a plothole.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that like everything else in the film, Jonah would have also sucked.

I liked that movie.

You're lying due to your opinion in film in general. There's no way some clown, like yourself, would watch a film like Citizen Kane.

You don't really know what a plothole is do you? She was next to him within 5 seconds of him dying and she was right outside the door.
Please kill yourself.

So are you going to see the third one?

Not unless I'm forced to.

Would you like my syllabus from the film class in which I watched it or are you just going to admit that you are wrong and walk away? I watched the movie. I actually enjoyed it other than the glaring plothole.

Think that might have had something to do with the fact that she heard the snowglobe hit the ground?
Naw... couldn't be.
The door was only closed, he only whispered it, and she only came in AFTER the globe hit the ground.
Maybe you should rewatch the scene before you look like a dumbass for defending a movie that you weren't even aware of that had a big plothole: So who heard him say Rosebud???

Then when we have the inevitable threads on the third one, we can expect you to never enter the threads right and stay out of the discussion as well right?

Yes it is, but a few pages back he claimed that film wasn't art. Now tell me why someone who claims that film isn't art would want to spend two and a half hours of his day focusing on a film that is considered the greatest work of art in film, which is also over 40 years older than he is?

I've seen Chinatown, The Grapes of Wrath, Dr. Strangelove (loved this movie), Babel, and Unforgiven (love this as well) too.
You just can't handle the fact that someone can watch the same movies as you and not enjoy them.

That at least explains why you would have watched it in the first place

As soon as you posted that I did go to see it on Youtube, and came to the conclusion she was outside the door listening to make sure nothing happened to him. "Rosebud" isn't going to get his caretaker in the room with him. Smashing a snowglobe will. Its pretty simple.

ok.
i thought he claimed movies weren't art.

I can handle this (in fact I didn't really like Babel), but I can't fathom how someone can watch these types of films and not be able to process that films are works of art.

So you are saying that the woman heard him whisper something through a a wall and door about 15-20 feet away?
Really?
It's a plothole dude. Get over it. No one is holding you accountable for it so don't piss and moan and stomp your feet.

Because outside of the last 15-20 minutes, Chinatown was boring as shite.
The Grapes of Wrath was boring as shite.
Movies are not art guy. If you want to view them as such, go ahead, but they aren't art. They are part of the entertainment industry.
Art is basically a term used for movies that are boring as shite nowadays.

I didn't care for Citizen Kane. Fully admit that it is a classic, just not for me.
Oh and Transformers 2 was a typical sequel. Meaning it sucked.
