Did Arya time travel or receive whispers from Bran?

The wind blowing one of The Others hair with no one in site might be a hint to whispers.

Maybe Bran wasn't just controlling his Flock of Seagulls to have the best seat in the house. He was scouting for intel and sending whispers to The Others, Co just to drive Arya into position at the right time when the Night King arrives to defeat all known threats leading to a drop in guard.

Or she has a Portal gun.

Believe the wind with no one around was a clue towards Bran sending whispers to the past during the battle. Just trying to understand when she learned Instant Transmission or what was use to leap from inside the Godswood.

Couldn't be more disappointed in this episode. At the start of the episode it filled us with promise that it might actually live up to the hype. It killed the show for me.

Nothing told us Bran has the power to do that. Plus at the end Brans eyes were normal so he wasn't using any powers. It really made no sense how Arya did that. It was just straight up fan service. No real explanation on how she gets by an entire army. Ever since they've strayed from the book they've essentially made Arya a god who is somehow stronger than all the best fighters in Westeros. I'll watch the end of the series, but these last 2 seasons have been really bad.

Not sure why you keep calling it fan service, since so many of the supposed "fans" on this board seem to hate it. That's kind of the opposite of "fan service," isn't it?

Whispers would happen prior but I yeah they better clarify some issues.

Idk how it could possibly be any worse. Maybe throw in one of those cock and balls jokes these show runners just love so much.

C'Mon man they 've been building up and training Arya for this moment the last 9 years. Even in the very first episode one of the older boys can't hit the side of a barn with a bow-- she shoots a bullseye...

She learns swordsmanship with the best. Etc...

She used almost the same knife trick against Brienne.

Simple people being distracted by irrelevant information and then being angry is what makes Tigerdroppings worth it.

To be fair it was lame to hype up on TV for a decade Jon Snow vs Night King and have the fight not happen.

And then kill the night King in the same way the midboss goes out in Farcry 3

Do you really need it spelled out to you that she used the branches of the huge tree the NK was under with his entourage at that point.

You do know nothing is around the Weirwood inside the Godswood?

Well that is bull. They literally said they decided 3 years ago that she would kill him. So that means when filming season 7. So that means they had no fricking plan at all in season 1 for this.

They've been building her into killing machine since 5 minutes into the first episode.
It just made it believable when they did decide she'd be the one to do it...

Building her into an assassin is not the same as building her into the one to win the "Great War"/kill the Night King.

Decided or found out when the Fat Man told them how it should end because he was nowhere close to providing them with new source material?

So, it seems, this has been George RR Martin's plan from the get go.

At this point I doubt the Fat Man is telling them anything.

rs. It really made no sense how Arya did that. It was just straight up fan service. No real explanation

Do you not remember her water dancing and sneaking up on cats and such? Do you not remember her being trained as an assassin who sneaks up on people. She was literally the only person who could have done that.

I wanted a NK vs Jon battle as well, but you can’t say that Arya wasn’t perfect for that job. She’s literally one of the most bad arse cold blooded killers currently in the seven kingdoms.
