This season has several plot lines. The daughter "Astor"'s relationship with Dexter. Quin is obviously going to be Doakes like this season. I'm betting his sister starts having questions about him this season. Plus some pretty gruesome murders seem to be on the horizon. Best show on T.V.

I really think burning that cargo continer will come bakc to bite him..he should have took the info out and dumped it like he did a body..I'll be keeping an eye out for that

I imagine he would not use his real name when he rented the shipping container. Even if the fuzz found the container they would have a hard time using anything as evidence. I don't know if we hear about this again.

Agreed the cargo container is inconsequential. No I am interested in how the teen mitchell forgot his name, responds to quinn when he shows the pic in the convenience store.

I don't think the preview showed Jonah forgetting his name.

One thing that stuck with me was when Dex told Aster, Cody, and the grand parents about Rita he said "I'm sorry for your loss.

I think he was saying that he forgot the teen Mitchell's name (Jonah). Not that Jonah forgot Kyle's name.

FWIW though, I thought the family completely under reacted to the news as well.

I mean, seriously, your daughter/mother was brutally murdered, I would be freaking out and probably wouldn't be able to hold it together for the funeral either.

They should've played that differently. Dexter handles the situation calmly, which is expected. I completely expected him to get spaced out in his oh shite thoughts and disconnected from the whole thing...

One thing I have learned in my line of work is that people respond differently to tragedy. There really is not a set emotional template on the proper human reaction to tragedy.

I agree, I just didn't see much reaction in general from the family receiving the news...

I thought he was imagining it because of how he told them.

Perhaps Quinn will discover that Dexter was hunting for Trinity? This would change everything, in Quinn's mind.

I assume the storage container is rented under another name (his brother's), but you gotta believe there were witnesses and cameras.

Grandma and Grandpa were Pauls parents so they are a little removed from Rita FYI.

Kids may not necessarily understand the situation enough to react how you'd think.

He was just parroting what the guy at the funeral home said to him. He doesn't understand human emotions or how he should react in that situation.

those were paul's parents. those were not ritas parents. rita's mom has been in past seasons.

Is everyone thinking the same thing about Quinn's impending meeting with Jonah? I don't think Jonah's going to roll over on Dexter. Dexter protected him and I just can't see Jonah turning him in. I do think he'll have a reaction to the picture which will drive Quinn to figure out Dexter even more.

I don't like where this episode has already taken things - especially the burning of the container and the killing of the redneck guy. The sex scene with Deb and Quinn seemed idiotic also.

Also, they've just taken it too far with how long he silently stares whenever anyone talks to him. It's approaching Kevin Arnold in the Wonder Years.

I know every episode can't be as great as the Season 4 finale, but still. They need to get going and quick.

I wish the guy from the funeral home was his brother from 6 Feet Under or wish the funeral home was the same one from 6 Feet Under.
