Can we just call this nonsense for what it really is? Psychosis...not something you really recover from.

She wanted to be a part of it. He helped her get revenge, saved her life, etc etc. but when she doesn't need him anymore, she's gone.

Well, she had been traumatized. But for that, she has this thing popularly referred to as a conscience. After she took out the guys who had violated her, she had no desire to kill random strangers even though she cared for Dexter. I'm pretty sure deep down Dexter agreed with her decision to leave. FWIW, she may very well reappear.

Some of you keep alluding that Dexter realized that his Dark Passenger could possibly leave him if Lumen was able to get rid of hers. I took it as the complete opposite. He sees Lumen's need for killing leave her and he sees the relief it brings her. I think he becomes angry because he knows his Dark Passenger will never leave. He can't do anything about it. He can't even wish it away because "wishes are for kids."

E! news just said that the writers definitely hinted that Deb may know. And that Julia Stiles could possibly return.

FWIW I enjoyed the finale.

But on to more important things... At Harrison's b-day party Vince is talking to some chick, and I couldn't help but notice that her arse was quite large. If anyone knows who she is I would be appreciative.

they didn't end the show the way I expected, so good job by the directors in fooling me with the previews from the prior episode. I'm fine with the way it ended except it's hokey the way Quinn just turns himself in when there's really no evidence of him paying Liddy off. There are the photos, but he just sails his butt down the river in a strange way when Leguerta happens to look down at Quinn's pants and then notices blood on his shoe. I'm alright with how they end Lumen's role too. I'm glad to see Dex reunited with his kids. They need him, he needs them. And in the end, they are still there for his salvation if that is what his destiny in the eyes of the writer gods.

I still don't know exactly how Dex got out of Liddy's van. He cut his bondages on a piece of the van door or by some tool laying down I guess. On the other hand I suppose Dex had the foresight of hiding a knife from his toolkit before being apprehended by Chase after his wreck. I will buy that.

shite that last sentence was about the second great escape from Chase/Greer. Both escapes were amazing, I buy Dex having the foresight to get the knife after the car wreck. But the van escape was total McGyver.

idk if this was mentioned but yeah deb knows. think of the last line of the episode i think. she gives it away. "i'm happy that this is over" "no shite you are" something like that. she protected dex. anyway didn't know lumen might come back.

i think the writing would have been tighter had they just ended the show with this season. still an awesome show.

Okay so she was in "O" and maybe something else with a black guy. Maybe she dated a black guy in real life. Beats me. But why does every thread about her reveal some obsession with her and black guys? What's the deal. Southern boys with penis envy?
