yea, Dexter must be a STRONG MoFo to stab that through a mattress and then a human body...

Started off great and has come to a halt the past few episodes.
I will say this season has been disappointing to this point. Some past seasons were average, but this being the final season one would have hoped for something more solid with last season being good. Breaking Bad will probably kill it, Dexter has just meandered and the Dr. Vogel interaction has just been boring.

Just watched the episode...
Therapy session was weak at the beginning, considering in the last episode Dexter told Vogel to f off basically. I even answered his question when he asked Deb who would take care of Harrison -- the same people that have been taking care of him since he's been born, everyone else but you.
Pegged the son as the killer the minute he was on screen.
Agree with the comments about Miller. She just walked in and will be Sgt.
What the hell is Matthews connection with the Hamiltons? I think that ultimately ends Quinn's sgt. bid.
Deb's character is all over the place now. Never really a big fan of hers outside of the first season. She had promise this season, but lost me with the "The family that kills together line."
Curtain rod may have been the most ridiculous death in the entire series. Right up there with the chainsaw scene at the end of Sharknado.
Bitching a lot it seems, but I still really like the show and the premise. Worried about all the questions that have to be answered in the last season now.

I think it's just messed up that Vogel is saying take the kid on as a project. She's completely sick and she keeps saying Dexter doesn't have feelings, but clearly Dexter does.
Not so sure Dexter's dad really did take himself. Something is off.

i could see yates not actually being the brain surgeon because he was obsessed with women shoes and killing women becuase of his mom. unless he has more than one m.o.

I see nothing to indicate that Yates is the brain surgeon. He's just obsessed with feet from watching his mother's pace back and forth from under the bed.

I'm going to be pissed if Dexter takes on that kid as a student. I mean, shite, that was the story line for season 3 with Miguel.
Yea, I really don't have a problem with the episode but this seems like too much to introduce right after Dexter, Deb and Vogel get reconciled.

Thought it started and ended weak. In between was ok. Hopefully the rest of the way is much better.
We need Dexter in a kill room more often though.

After Dex killed Yates Deb said," Let's clean this up and get out of here." Cleaning up blood from a vacationers house is one thing but somebody has a hole in their mattress waiting for them when the get back from the Bahamas.
