the Count of Monte Cristo with Caviezal is a dime a dozen action-adventure movie, that while made well for what it, does nothing interesting outside of being a better than average blockbuster

The Faculty is another one that I feel gets forgotten when it comes to those late 90s horror movies.

You didn't bother to follow the thread of conversation. Pro tip: You have to read things in context to understand them.

I really enjoy Phone Booth, with Colin Farrell.
I don't see people talking about it much. Seems like everytime it's on we watch it.

I think A River Runs through it gets plenty of talk.
Redford, Pitt, c'mon.
We had to read the book and watch the movie in school like Lonesome Dove.
But A River for made me think of Seven Years in Tibet (I never really much talk about it but it was very popular when it came out) -
And Inventing the Abbots...maybe that movie is too old school straight-forward drama for the masses to keep it alive.

I'm going to go back about 60 years.
Mister Roberts with Henry Fonda, James Cagney and a young Jack Lemmon. It's a comedy-drama set on a supply ship in the Pacific during World War II. They used to run it on TBS constantly when I was a kid. Well worth watching.
