I feel so sad for Billie Lourd...she lost her mom and grandmother within a 24 hour time frame. I can't even imagine what that is like.

This happens all the time. Elderly people lose a spouse or a loved one and when they hit their next bout of serious illness they give up so that they can be with them.

We've had it happen in our family, and we've had to talk one elderly parent out of giving up.

It's terrible, but at that advanced age they see it as a way to be with their loved ones.

God bless the Reynolds and Fisher families.

This isnt a look at me post at all. The opposite really. But my life has been pretty great an almost completely devoid of tragedy or hardship....until 2016. 2016 has been hot dog shite for my family.

And to hear people bitch and moan and pontificate about how bad 2016 has been because some celebrity has died or because an election didnt go the way they wanted or any of the other myriad of reasons that these frickers are crying about makes me want to punch them in the face.

Probably.

I'll even bet a quarter that we will lose some in 2017.

Honestly, why care what other people get emotional about?

I've had rough years in the past but others didn't have that experience so things that seemed bad to them didn't even hit my emotional radar. On the same token I've had things get me emotional that didn't cause others to blink an eye.

That's just life and you can't expect everyone to have that same experience. So if they get upset because they favorite actor or singer died, who cares? Doesn't mean they aren't sympathetic to your life. Just means if affected them differently.

Only thing that I hate is when people look at someones problems and say "well that really isn't that bad" because it might be or seem THAT bad for that person.

Can't control how others feel or view the world.

I do agree, many people that post about deaths are only doing it to follow the crowd.

There are some who are legit emotional about it though.
