I think you leave Deadpool's dialogue rated R and either bleep it or purposefully overdub it as badly as possible. Like Die Hard "Mister Falcon" bad.

Or you can have Deadpool start cussing and have Ryan Reynolds voicing over saying, "due to the constraints placed on this character by the MPAA, the dialogue you would have normally heard is being replaced by this soothing monologue."

Only if he actively reacts to it.

"Mother*beep*... wait, what was that? Who the *beep* is bleeping me? I will *bleep* your *bleep* all the *bleeping* way to *bleeping* El Paso!!"

As far as I'm concerned they need to get away from the shared world nonsense and just focus on singular character movies.

For the most part they were singular movies with only light tie-ins to the larger story arc. You really didn't need to watch any one movie in Phase One before any other, including The Avengers.

In Phase 2 you could say someone should watch The Avengers before watching Age of Ultron but that would be about it.

It wasn't until Phase 3 where we saw definite need to watch at least one prior movie, but even then it wasn't all of them (it was most of them though).

What we'll likely see is a return to the Phase 1 style where the movies all are in the same universe but have only a head-nod toward the others. There may be more intertwining later but for now it's way too early.

As a footnote... the latest Cloak & Dagger mentioned a news story about Luke Cage written by Karen Page. IIRC that's the first time they've mentioned any other part of the MCU in this particular show.

I love the shared world angles. It's childish to pretend all these superheroes exist in parralel universes or whatever & don't cross paths.

Let's keep it all going. Mix it all up. Have some fun.

No it's not.

In season 1 O'Reilly and her coworkers spoke quite a bit about "Misty and Nandy" as well as, "you should share stories with Detective Knight in Harlem."

In Luke Cage Season 2, Nandy talks to Misty about the fact that "O'Reilly left for New Orleans."

It's been stated numerous times on both shows that Brigit O'Reilly (Mayhem) and Misty Knight used to be partners.

I liked the idea someone had a while ago

They should have introduced him in endgame after the snap brings everyone back. Deadpool walks up, looks through, and sees everything going down.

Deadpool turns to the camera and says frick this shite

Agents of Shield Season 3 talks about a rash of murders in New York targeting gangs (Daredevil Season 2)

I mean it could work for a bit, especially if Reynolds &Co own it. Like come right out and make a joke about Disney owning him, or put a little claymation Mickey on his shoulder or something.

But not long term. I don’t want a family friendly Deadpool 3

This should be the opening scene to Deadpool 3. It would be absolutely gloriuous.

That would work much better. Deadpool popping up in the funereal Endgame would’ve been as out of place as the girlpower group shot.

That would be a pretty awesome way to do the next PG-13 edit of Deadpool (a la Once Upon a Deadpool).

ETA - My candidate for worst broadcast dubbing that takes you out of a movie - Full Metal Jacket on ABC.

I think the worst, and therefore the best, is "This is what happens, Larry! This is what happens when you find a stranger in the Alps!"

just fricking hilarious. Actually ties the room together a bit in a weird sort of way, if you know what I'm saying.

That or "My name is Chuck and I'm here to party." From Kill Bill. Just so hilariously bad in the overdub.
