Some people let the hype machines and love of certain properties cover up what was an awful movie.
The last Jedi was on another level though. Not only was it a shitty movie, it also spit in the face of the fans while being awful.

While i know Sony still owns Spiderman, it's still a Marvel movie, and we got a middle finger, as we did in Black Panther, Penis Parker, and "looking at porn" in that movie.
I'd rather the sexual comedy in Thor and GOTG that my 6 year old won't get as opposed to the above mentioned. My son doesn't know or care what a Jackson Pollock painting is, but he knows what a penis is. he didn't go around making Jackson Pollock jokes after GOTG, but he sure as hell likes saying Penis Parker now.

why - that goes against the narrative that the people that didn't like the 1st one are saying in this thread.
anyone that listens to anyone about a movie and goes by what they say is crazy. every reviewer out there could absolutely shite on this movie, but i will be there - cause at the end of the day - I know what I like, they don't - so their opinions mean little to me.
