Ouch. I didnt think it would be that bad. However, the audience rating is higher. Also the rating on IMDB is solid....although its early..

Is this it for Depp/Burton? What the hell happened to them and what is up with these flops.

It doesn't look like anything groundbreaking as a film, but it does look like it could be fun. I'll probably still see it.

i watched dark shadows as a kid and barnabas scared the shite out me..i don't think i can watch this as a comedy/spoof.

Yea I think some of the disappointment is that its part spoof, part horror comedy, part melodrama. So the critics arent liking.

Burton should have made it similar to Sleepy Hollow and Sweeney Todd. Not that they were scary, but still interesting.

when i first saw they were making this, i was kinda excited to see it....then i saw the previews and i was like WTF? this isn't dark shadows, this is that george hamilton vampire movie.

Let me start of by saying I am a huge Johnny Depp fan but after seeing this movie, my perception of him took a major hit. This movie was unbelievably horrible, I fell asleep for about thirty minutes only to wake up to a teenage she-wolf that had absolutely no value at all to the plot. This shite sucked.

Was it really bad? Thinking about going to see it tomorrow night.
