But the Miller/Janson run on Daredevil is infinitely better than DKR, honestly. It isn't close at all. I know I'm in the minority, I don't even put DKR in my Top my Top 10 Batman stories. It just doesn't sit right, and wasn't all that interesting imo.

I lost interested in S2 when Electra was introduced. How long do they stay with her boring arc and does the Punisher come back during the season?

Translated: I stopped watching immediately at the end of episode 4 as soon as Elektra appeared.
You CLEARLY didn't watch through episode 7 of season 2.

I'm not finished with IF2 yet, so don't spoil anything. So far I am on the fence with TM in this. The acting for her is flat at times, but it's also difficult to pull of this type of role.
In the comics her relationship with DD is compelling, so it could definitely lead to some good storytelling in the show.

I'm with you on this. I've never quite accepted the praise heaped upon it, and I think there are many superior stories to this. It comes off a bit too pretentious for me.
Killing Joke is probably my #1 Batman story, even though they do put an origin to the Joker. It's so damn intense that I can overlook that aspect and love it nonetheless.
The Snyder/Caputo run from the 2010 era is phenomenal. I put this up there with any of the great 80's and 90's stories.

DKR rises was a product of its time. I loved it when it first came out, but it hasn't aged well, especially for those who are just picking it up decades after the Cold War ended.

I'm excited for season 3. I think Daredevil is the best marvel showing running right now, although The Punisher is a close second.
