Because that scene happened right after the events of Season 3.

It happened four years after the events of the third season. The last episode of season three had Dex going through experimental surgery to fix his spine after having had it broken by Fisk in their fight.

This seems low to me. Daredevil shouldn't be competing against Agatha.

According to the Mouse House, the Marvel Television series drew 7.5 million views in its first five days of availability on Disney+, with a view defined as total stream time divided by runtime. That makes it the biggest streaming debut on the platform this year. The show officially launched on March 4.

Disney does not regularly release viewership information about its streaming shows, so exact comparisons are difficult. But for some context, it was previously reported that the Sterling K. Brown drama “Paradise” drew 7 million views across its first nine days of streaming on Hulu and Disney+ earlier this year. The first episode of fellow Marvel show “Agatha All Along” hit 9.3 million views in its first week of availability in September 2024.

The two cops not identifying themselves was pretty dumb as well. I can allow this if they intentionally were trying to hide they were cops due to their dirty dealings, but so far that has not been established.

You only watched the first episode or also the 2nd episode? Because from just that scene, my take away was they're either crooked cops or it was a sting and they were reluctant to declare themselves cops.

By end of episode 2 though it should leave no doubt they're crooked.

Though now that begs the question why didn't the crooked cop just shoot the guy instead of arresting him. I get that there are probably subway cameras but I feel like if he shot immediately after the other cop got hit by the train, he could try to justify "heat of the moment".

It is amazing that this is the same studio that gave us The Marvels, She Hulk, and the Eternals.

Hector Ayala in 3 fricking episodes (30 mins of screen time max) was better written than 99% of all current MCU characters.

This is the first show Disney+ has aired (maybe not first, but first widely watched) since the drastic fall in subscriptions after the price increases and the policing on password sharing at the end of 2024.

From what I understand the ratings the show is currently experiencing are quite good considering the number of subscribers the app currently has, the fact that it’s the first thing released exclusively on Disney+ with a TV-MA rating, etc

I think this show will gain watchers as it progresses rather than lose them like several other Disney+ offerings. A lot of Marvel fans feel burned and hesitant, but if they keep hearing good things, many -- not all -- will trickle back.

Episode 3: Was a nice change of pace. Let's call it a Matt episode -- not a Daredevil episode.

I'm not sure if the emmys has a one off best performance in a guest appearance award but Kamar de Los Reyes deserves a nomination for this episode.

Rest in Peace baw

I figured he was going to meet his demise, which would push Matt back into being Daredevil but was hoping to see a tag team fight at least once.

Was there any significance to the bird sounds during the credits? I don’t recall that in a previous episode

Those were the birds native to Puerto Rico that Tiger said say their own name.

I am only looking foward to watching Vincent D. play King Pin again. He was made for the role.

I'd have to rate Tuesday's episode a 6/10. So far this series has failed to live up to the lofty expectations set forth by the Netflix show. It's still decent but it's driven almost entirely by the performances of Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio. I couldn't care less about any of the side characters thus far, which is sad because the original series had some fairly solid ones.

Not to mention they increased the price and also added fricking commercials. I got rid of D+ despite the fact that I watch everything from Star Wars and MCU. The commercials is why I cancelled and I just download the torrents instead.

The fact that we pay money to watch something, then have to watch commercials pisses me off. Either have commercials and be free, or charge and don’t have commercials. You can’t have both.

1st 2 episodes probably 7 to 8 ish out of 10. 3rd episode a 9ish out of 10.
