Maybe they'll do a better job of steering their subpar writing than other directors could.

They have GRRM's ending so maybe it won't suck? They can adapt his vision pretty well. Hopefully don't make their own choices

Just because it’s the same ending, doesn’t mean it’ll make sense because the show and books will have different ways of getting to that ending. This show’s ending would likely e better if they didn’t rush things.
