I absolutely loved this show. The ending was perfect.

I won’t lie it got some tears out of me… from the reveal of who was doing the intvs, to what happens .. it just wrapped up the story of the show so well

I think it’s a show that at times you dislike the characters and the things they’re doing but you stay invested and the way it wraps everything up was really beautiful. Episode 10 is simply fantastic and I’m ngl the ending made me tear up.
Mild Spoiler:
This is a perfect analysis. I was morally conflicted the whole time on who to root for verse my own opinion on infidelity. The ending was perfect and gave me an out.

daughter loved the book and I drove her around Hammond when they were filming last summer so she could get some on set pics
Wait it was filmed in Hammond and New Orleans? Now I’m gonna have to watch it again

I found it odd that Billy at no point in the show, expressed any resistance to the band all of a sudden being billed as “Daisy Jones and the Six”.
I was literally waiting for that big conflict, as it’s a major thing for a band and he expressed resistance to literally everything, and then….nope it’s just everywhere and no one mentions it.
Anyone else find that odd?

Since it is loosely based on Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac does anyone have an opinion on how accurate it is?

I was waiting for this too… I guess at that point he was just fully bought in and kind of in love with her

I think it’s not exactly accurate but the “themes” and essence of who she is and things she struggled with and went through are pretty similar

Same here. They were pretty well established and the name makes them sound like a backing band. Maybe their attitude was “Everyone knows who The Six are so they’ll know it’s her joining us”? But then you’d still have that dialogue even if briefly.

Last episode had a lunch at Arnauds, hotel scenes at The Roosevelt and I believe the concert scene was done at Tad Gormley. Also saw scenes filmed on Baronne Street and at Lakefront Airport in earlier episodes

I was in the Roosevelt lobby while they were filming the scene with Eddie walking out and getting into the cab. /csb

Music lovers, specifically those involved in the nuts and bolts of music and band things, will love it from the start.
False. As one of the nuts and bolts people, I have found it to be cliche` and tropey. I'm 3 episodes in.
I would go into detail of the cliche` stuff but don't want to post spoilers. I'll keep watching it, until such time as it completely craps the bed, but maybe it will get better and surprise me.

just finished the last episode. I enjoyed it. Maybe partly out of nostalgia as a 70s kid.
I felt bad for the drummer. dude was just loving life. playing in an insanely popular band, dating a movie star, he was the only band member not involved in the drama. Then, it's all taken away from him.

Yea, I can see where it might have been tragic for him but with his easy going attitude he did OK. He probably banked some cash and kept the hottie.

Spoilers……
It sounds like the got the best ending of the bunch. Married the movie star, had two great kids, ended up a session drummer (you see him in one of Daisy’s solo sessions). His interviews were on a boat named after Aurora (and he admitted early on he loves boats).
He was the perfect encapsulation of the rockstar that makes it because he has enough self-awareness to look around and appreciate what is happening when it was happening.
Anywho, I loved how the show ended. Cried like a baby when they revealed who was doing the interviews, what happened to Camilla, and when both Billy and Daisy saw the video telling them to reach out to each other.

Guessing it's well know that the lead female is Elvis' granddaughter, Lisa Marie's kid. But, I'd never heard of her until this show.
spoilers....
they kind of left the door opened for a second season.

I had the same feeling on the first few episodes. Just thought it was playing into some cheesy hipster fantasy of the 70's

It will. (or at least did for me). Things really get good around ep5-6. Stick with it.

Ditto.
I favored Graham and Karen's story-line also. I'll refrain from any spoilers but I really enjoyed how they wrapped up the season.

is Billy Dunne both an a-hole AND a good guy? Most times he's just an a-hole but, at times he seemed like a good guy. Like the shower scene.
