Can someone give me some background on what happened to Oliver? Not familiar with Spectre.

The best way to describe Spectre is if Ghost Rider was a cosmic entity. In Marvel Comics terms, his powers are a cross between Sentry and Ghost Rider.

He's the literal spirit of God's Vengeance but he requires a human host. Hosts he's had include Jim Corrigan, Crispus Allen, Hal Jordan and Oliver Queen.

In an interview today, Tom Ellis said that the Lucifer you saw was 5 years before he met Chloe Decker.

If they give Ollie comic level Spectre powers, he's now the most powerful entity in the Arrowverse.

By a pretty significant amount.

Isn't the Phantom Stranger the only character more powerful than Spectre (unfettered by The Voice?

I need more Lucifer and Constantine scenes in my life. Hell, a whole series with them.
Needs to happen

Jon Cryer's Lex Luthor is really making one hell of a play to be a better Lex Luthor than Michael Rosenebuam. God what a smug dickhead.
Disagree here. I like the portrayal, but Cryer's Lex is just shallow. Rosenbaum's was super deep, and everything about him made sense.

Duckie just seems like he is larping Spacey's Lex. Which isn't bad, Spacey played a great Lex.

Eclipso can manipulate and confuse Spectre
Raven can harm him
He can be overcome by a Black Power Ring (he rejected The Butcher to his face when he tried to force a Red Power Ring on him...not Atrocitus...the actual Butcher)

I don't know who else

Speaking of Black Power Rings...the way this crossover has gone, the only possible way they can top it is if they do Blackest Night, but I don't think they have the budget required to do Nekron justice...that and they'd have to introduce all of the Lanterns.

Agreed, but I think Cryer's Lex is a better fit for this mishmash of a Crisis. For the same reason I liked that Welling's Clark was a bit above this series, I'd hope that Rosenbaum would've been handled the same. This series needed a mustache twirling villain to offset the boring Anti-Monitor and pals. Cryer fits that bill.

Absolutely. I was referring to the comparison.

I have enjoyed Cryer's role in this. . .But Rosenbaum was a God-level portrayal

It is worth noting that other than the original Crisis on Infinite Earth, where he managed to hold together the remaining multiverse in the palm of his hand, every other major DC cosmic level threat crossover includes at least one way they can shuffle the Spectre off to the sidelines so he doesn't just show up and put his thang down.

I know we like to shite on Supergirl because it's way too SJW heavy...but we already have a "Rosenbaum Luthor" in the Arrowverse...Lena. Cryer's Luthor turned her at the end of season 4.

Meh. . .I just think it is too gay for me.

I mean it's great for the gays and all, not hating. . .just too much for me. Same reason I quit AHS during the Hotel season.

Based on just the crossovers, the worst thing about Supergirl is the alien Cisco wannabe.

He's a Coluan...more like a sentient organic computer.

Nia is a tranny, but she's an alien so...

I'm not sure "SJW heavy" is the correct term. For me it became "SJW only" and that's when I stopped watching. Just watching this crossover has reminded me how awful that show got.

Until she kicks him to the curb for the next costar that she fricks (like she did to her last husband).

Her ex husband abused her.

She posted a very real video detailing how that happened on instagram a while back. LINK

Iirc, She didn't drop names but she said that her abuser was younger than her and even implied that she let insinuations that she cheated on him with her current husband go on just to hide the abuse he was doing.

I fully believe her.

In my mind this crisis is the same as the 85 crisis, and we are seeing it now from the perspective of the Arroverse and its associated earths.

Mind blown.

They are doing this is some fashion. They are using the Crisis on Infinite Earths comic book framework for the television universe. They are also using threads of Kingdom Come as well. The Spectre showing up and appropriating Ollie for Norman McCay to weave back into the story.

We've seen Kingdom Come Batman as well as Superman.
The only thing that would make me shite a brick is if Lynda Carter showed up as Kingdom Come Wonder Woman at the end to sacrifice herself and kick arse with modern effects.

What about Susan Eisenberg as Wonder Woman?
