Interesting it’s produced by A24. If it’s done right, it ends with her death/Jason reveal and a theatrical reboot/continuation

Yep. It will be interesting to see if the show can portray her as a grieving mother driven mad by the death of her son, which is how she came across in the original film. It looks like this series will lead right up to the beginning of the original Friday the 13th movie. I'm intrigued and Linda Cardellini has done some great work in the past.
