Simply a great flick boys. I am in the small minority that saw the second one first, believe it or not. I think it helped me enjoy the second one more because I could see why fans of the first one would hate the second one, but I went in with no expectations and liked it a lot.

Connect the dots between Clerks, Jay and Silent Bob, Chasing Amy, and Dogma.

If you have ever worked a shite customer service job in your 20s, the movie hits different. Clerks is super accurate in how it portrays a day in the life of a crappy part time job. From the various customers who come in with a goal of making your life a living hell, to having conversations with coworkers to take up time on the clock. Ranging from meaningless conversations about movies to ‘what are we doing with our lives?’ conversations. The climax of the movie with Randall finally laying into Dante really brings it all home. Clerks is the embodiment when it comes to movies that are a slice of life.

Some needless Clerks 2 bashing imo.
The first one is better, but only barely.

The mocking of LOTR scene was epic.
And I'm a huge Tolkien fan.
( How well has that Star Wars franchise fared ? )

I watched the trailer for the reboot and what’s the deal with Jason Mewes face, he just doesn’t look right and I thought for a second it was even a different actor.
