The Godfather ( The first )

Rocky ( The first )

Rambo ( any )

Any John Wayne movie ( Any suggestions ? )

Bunch more that are really good but those are my favorites of his.

Excellent 'starter' list by C.C.... i would also throw in there: Rio Grande, The Cowboys & El Dorado...that should fix you up on ole John Wayne for awhile.

From reading Freaux's 80's top 20 thread...
Brazil

Lots of people (including DigitalDreamDoor.com) are impressed with it. They rank it the 16th best film of the 80's.

I know there are more.

Edited to add:

Some Woodie Allen movies because I never enjoyed any of the few I did see.

would maybe add The War Wagon because it has Kirk Douglas and was one my brothers and I used to reenact.
