If you haven't seen it. Really good movie. I didn't know all the backstory. I was not expecting that.

I watched it. It was not good. It was fair, I guess. At first I thought this was something I hadn’t seen until I researched it. That’s how much of an impression it made.

I watched it because I remember seeing Christy Martin on ESPN and was not familiar with her story. She was a media darling until beasts like Ali's daughter started coming around.
The movie was pretty weak but SS did a really good job sinking into the role and doing a good job. A lot of bombshell type actresses won't do that but she pulled it off. The whole lesbian thing wasn't too bad. If the movie is accurate she had it pretty bad off.

I started this thinking I would turn it off, but made it through. Sweeney has some legitimate acting skills. She also did a good job transforming physically into a thicker frame. If you are trying to watch this for Sweeney’s looks don’t bother. Some of these fighters today who complain about pay need to shut their mouth.
