Its a proven fact that A Christmas Story is the all time most timeless and appreciated Christmas film of all time. Billions of people watch it every year its one of those movies that actually is funnier as an adult that when you are a kid.

I liked Elf. But Will Ferrell might be my favorite comedic actor so that helps.

To the original question, it's Vacation no doubt. Once they get to the family's house it turns in to solid gold. The grandma giving the cat wrapped in a box had me crying the first time I saw the movie (which was only maybe five years ago).

Is Just Friends a Christmas movie??

Similar story for me as well.

I think it depends on how and why you watched the movies. For me, my dad loved Christmas Vacation so naturally we watched it every year as a kid. With A Christmas Story, my schedule on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day never really gave time for watching A Christmas Story so still to this day I have never seen the whole thing.

its overrated because it gets played on a 24 hour loop. no other movie in the history of movies gets that treatment. so yes in this case its definitely overrated.

it sucks because my opinion is it sucks.
