TBS has been having a National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation marathon on all day. Why were the neighbors so nasty? They even wished Clark would fall and break his neck when he was up on the ladder putting up his lights. Frick them

It’s Clark Griswold- I’m sure he set their garage on fire with fireworks on the 4th of July, cut the cable line for the entire neighborhood and accidentally killed 2 of their dogs all within the past year.

Clark, while well meaning, I’m sure was a shitty neighbor.

Without question. I would probably want him to fall off the roof as well. If for nothing else for both of us to laugh and have a beer

Clark was trying to make a move on Margo and then things went south. That's why Todd hates him.

Self-centered yuppy couple with no children who come off like their shite don't stink in the movie.

If I remember right, they complained that the lights were so bright that it lit up the inside of their house.

And let's face it, would you want a neighbor allowing their trailer trash relative played by Randy Quaid parking a ratty RV and emptying the sewage into the storm drain????

They were snobs, but would you want to live next to Clark Griswold?

So, you're telling me Clark was from Chalmette?

Honestly, Clark kind of started it. If my neighbor came back with a ridiculously big tree that had been uprooted, I’d ask him about the tree, but then Clark goes and insults his wife.
