Yeah I'm with Acreboy...Tommy Boy is timeless, and Black Sheep is a little hidden comedy gem

TOmmy Boy is no where near as bad as Black Sheep...

Black Sheep has one good part...him on stage at his brothers rally.

everything else is douche chilling. I had it on because lady friend was watching it..and I was like "oh I like Black Sheep always have"...not so much anymore...it's def. not a gem.

You are so wrong. Tommy Boy and Black Sheep are still hillarious.

Guys i'm not saying all his comedy didn't hold up over time. Just the movies...and Black Sheep..if you haven't watched it recently..is just ...horrendous.

Uh oh..David Spade is coming qith a quip...Chris Farley is wearing like 15 buttons on his suit! He's nuts! HIS THUMBS ARE CAUGHT IN THE CAR!!!that movie didn't just hold up at all.

Loved him in as Milton
love his SNL stuff
love him in Dirty Work
love him in Almost Famous

Black Sheep is just not good.

What the hell does hold up over time mean? If something is funny 20 years ago, it is still funny now. Tommy Boy is like Fletch. It gets better every time you watch it. I never thought Black Sheep was very funny. Watched it again last week and it was still unfunny.

Couldn't agree more. Tommy Boy is good when hungover nursing and all. but blacksheep is yucky. Almost Heroes was ok, could tell eh was coked out. He was good one though

A lot of pop songs from the 80s. They were probably great then, but if you hear George Michael's "Careless Whisper" and think it's still an awesome song, you have your nostalgia headphones on.

I am with all the other guys who said this. In fact, Tommy Boy is the only movie with Farley as the lead that I care for. He had some awesome smaller roles like in Coneheads.

One of my favorite movie scenes in a comedy is them playing checkers in Black Sheep. "It's pretty difficult, when you NEVER MOVE YOUR BACK ROW!"

I love Tommy Boy and Black Sheep. And I normally agree with you on things.
