The Sac O Suds in Monticello GA closed permanently a few years ago, which sucks. It was an actual real place, not on a studio lot in Los Angeles.
Also, I didn't realize Tomei won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for that movie.

One of the best movies ever.
Solid cast, but put them together with a great script and equally great performances and what might have been a 'meh' movie turned into an absolute gem.

That catsuit is an outfit that no one should be able to wear well…but that Oscar winner wears the frick out of it.

I thought it reopened a couple of years ago?
And it's closer to Jackson than Monticello.

Mailing address is in Monticello (on the Jasper County side of the river) but technically in unincorporated Jasper County.
It hasn't been a convenience store in ages. In the last couple of years it was the base for tubing trips on the river. Not sure if it still is.

Seinfeld did a whole episode based on this.

It did, ten years ago. Then closed again.

achktually it is on the Monticello side of the Ocmulgee River, the halfway point between Jackson and Monticello.
Monticello was founded in 1808 while Jackson wasn't incorporated until 1826. Furthermore, Monticello is the county seat of Jasper County while Jackson is the retard little brother of Macon that lives in the shed waiting for mommy to come out with some biscuits and a Bible lesson.

Yeah I know. And I get it. It's just closer to Jackson than Monticello.

This makes sense.

I know where it's at, I've been past there more times than I can count. Just making an observation. I was also a 2X Geography Bee champ in middle school so this isn't something I don't already know.

I'm going to be in Jackson on Tuesday for a ball game. I'm gonna remember this and laugh.

Weird flex for someone who didn't even know it has been closed for 5+ years.
