Do they simply just not show these on network tv anymore? Seems like a couple years back PBS show them... at least I think it was PBS.... but CBS doesn't show them anymore, does it?

As far as I know, they are only shown on Apple TV now. They throw us a bone by showing them for free for a couple of days.

I'm gong to have to find the DVD's of the Charlie Brown specials, as well as Frosty and Rudolph, the Grinch (original cartoon version), etc. so I can get my yearly fix of holiday memories.

CBS used to show these after a big SEC game on Saturday night after Thanksgiving. Not sure if they do anymore.

Apple bought the rights.

I've got all the blue rays for them.

I am saddened that my kids not only fail to appreciate, but actively avoid the Peanuts specials. I force them to watch The Great Pumpkin and Charlie Browns Christmas every year, but they don’t like it. When I was a kid and these shows came on, it really was a special moment. We didn’t watch what I wanted to watch very often in the evenings when everyone was home, but dad made it a point to watch these with me.

Um... who doesn't like the Charlie Brown Christmas special? Why are your kids weird? (JUST KIDDING)... but seriously.... how can one not like Charlie Brown's Christmas Special. They'll even appreciate it when they get older.

My oldest son is a bit rebellious towards anything I try to introduce him to.
My youngest son copies his brother.
