This is what I believe. He's getting fricked up and being an addict in the process. It's as if he thinks his only way to restore fame is to be himself x 10 on televsion...but that crack got so far on top of him that he's forgotten what his original plan was. Crackheads are the furthest from reality out of any hardcore users. Plus, he's doing 3-4 other drugs on top of it.

Sam, I agree with you about Rodney King. He seems like a very level-headed guy, and the stuff he said on tonight's show, about moving past the LA beatings, was very poignant.
I think he will be successful because once the show is done filming, he will be able to lead a low-key life that is conducive to sobriety. Unlike the other people on the show, he never wanted to be famous, go to trendy nightclubs, and sleep with porn stars. He was just an alcoholic who was thrust into the media spotlight because of some very unfortunate events, and he looks like he is responding very well to Dr. Drew's suggestions.

I bet the majority of the people are in their mid-40s, and their bodies look nothing like Amber's.
Btw, the whole scene with Jessica Jaymes was so predictable. I must admit that I am pretty surprised at how messed up she appeared on camera. I guess her post-Nick Lachey days haven't been the best.
Back when I was in high school, and the E channel used to show Howard Stern at night, both she and Mary Carey made a handful of separate appearances. She was one of the most well-spoken and reasonable porn stars to ever go on on the show. She was miles ahead of Mary Carey. I could never figure out why she didn't go into fashion modeling, or at least Playboy or Skinimax type sutff, and Howard always asked her the same question.
It was very strange seeing her mumble incoherently and slur half of her words.

I'm not so sure Andy Dick has any money. He mentioned losing all his money and dignity and he said he was living with his son, not his son was living with him.
He may get some residuals from Newsradio, but he really wasn't the star of the show so he may not get much. With a coke habit, it is quite possible he snorted it all.

I was watching E! a while back and Jeff was walking and dancing(slowly) around with the crazy woman. They were actually getting married. He seemed in good spirits. He didn't look fricked up. But still looked beat up.
