(SPOILERS)

What do y'all think? Is this just a boost of publicity for 'Better Call Saul' or will we just get an entirely new script that centers around Walter White/Jesse Pinkman again?

The ending was great. No reason to try to bring it back.

I'll take it back, any way possible. If it sucks, it sucks. No way I could turn down a chance for more BB.

A series showing Gus rise in the El Pollo business would work

This. They went out on top; the final episode was the best thing I've ever seen on television.

I remember they said there was supposed to be more back story and apparently they didn't use it.

Even though I saw it coming a mile away - and it was almost a cliched ending, it was one of the most poetic and gratifying endings to any television series - definitely up there with the greats - Sopranos(polarizing though it may be), Wire(best ending montage), The Shield (silence is golden) - BB's (Baby Blue) ending is, likewise, a work of art.

If you go back to the older shows - only a few really tried to do something special at the end - M*A*S*H and Hill Street Blues come to mind (and HSB is the grandfather of all these great dramas - IMHO - along with St. Elsewhere).

I hope they don't bring it back. The whole series was basically perfection in my eyes, there's no need to try to relive the glory. I wouldn't want (or wanted rather) Seinfeld to try to make a comeback, and S4 of Arrested development was meh.

It was awesome, one of the best shows ever. Let's just leave it alone.

Best ending ever. I would not want them to bring this back, so I guess I can understand why people don't want BB back.

I hope they don't bring it back... The series was outstanding and should be left that way.

However, I agree with a spinoff focussing around Gus and Mike and how they got going. You could bring Sal into it, but all of it needs to pre-date Walt and Jesse meeting Sal.

Series ended perfectly.

Cranston needs to move on.

Bring back Malcolm in the middle

The more I watch Modern Family, the more I get the vibe that the Dunphys are just a riff on Malcolm in the Middle - a well done riff, but nonetheless (of course, all sitcoms are guilty of this to a certain degree - going back to I Love Lucy, Ozzie and Harriet and/or The Honeymooners) a riff.

How so? I mean, there's 2 parents and 3 kids, but I don't really see any similarities beyond that.

I'd say 'The Middle' is pretty much a straight ripoff, and I enjoy that show. Bumbling dad, bitchy do-everything mom, tiny youngest son that's smart but eccentric and a social outcast, older son who's the cool guy but dumb, etc. And the fricking title!

I wish people would let this terrible show die.

I wasn't calling it a rip off - but a riff, based on the subjective vibe I get. The Middle is almost a straight rip off of MitM, although well done (from what I've seen of it.)
