Marvel's "original" Captain Marvel started out with a green costume.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure Carol Danvers never wore Mar-Vell's colors.

Not sure where they're going with this.

Me either.

Knowing Marvel, they'll probably start her in Mar-Vell's costume until Tony Stark designs her a new one.

I wish this was a joke.

if someone asked you while that was filming "who is ant man?" would you think they're bullshitting you?

You're really going to equate Ant-Man with a superhero name that is shared by both DC and Marvel and is associated with multiple TV series? (Not to mention the movie serials and the Fawcett character being the biggest selling character of his time.)

If you really want to be disappointed, remember, they chose not to give us this costume:

I am so sorry to have been Marvel-phobic when I was a kid. So stuck on goody-goody DC super-heroes back then, I missed out on the whole host of really interesting Marvel comics and that amazing hero/villain universe.

Late in the game I found Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four, But I was starting to find interests beyond comics, so never delved too deep.

It's not too late.

Almost everything has been scanned and uploaded to the internet and you can read them for free.

I think she did back in the 60s, and then they both changed to the modern color scheme. I mean, her origin story is tied into him, and she is now part Kree, so its not out of the question for her to start with Kree colors before asserting her own identity.

But Danvers' comic history is pretty messed up, inspiring a famous article about the Rape of Captain Marvel, which is why Chris Claremont essentially took her off the board for a decade by having Rogue kill her. It took about that long to repair the damage done to the character. Which is also why she spent time as Binary and Warbird, and the 80s had a black woman as Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau.

6.4 decent body (this costume doesn't do it justice), but she has a weird face.

I have no clue who she is, either.

And I have limited knowledge about Captain Marvel.

Why is it green? I thought it was blue and red?

An homage to the Green Lantern movie. She's a huge Ryan Reynolds fan.

She won an Oscar and there are two Captain Marvel movies in production as we speak.

She's also the count who refused to applaud Casey Affleck while presenting him the Oscar for Best Actor, due to an accusation of sexual harrassment.
