Question: was that blue book confiscated by the dea or something (because hank has that flashback moment when he was reading that inscription to Walt)? If so, how did Walt get it....I forgot?

Also, did they show the attorney that was making the money drops get shanked? Lydia said he was one of the 10 now (previously 9 that mike was paying off)

I'm thinking they aren't just going to let him get out easy. which is why he needs the weapon.

"Gliding Over All" is a poem by Walt Whitman

GLIDING o’er all, through all,
Through Nature, Time, and Space,
As a ship on the waters advancing,
The voyage of the soul—not life alone,
Death, many deaths I’ll sing.

Nice find. Absolutely spot on.

nvm, the other guy is correct I believe. the book was a gift to Walt from Gail.

I remember seeing it earlier this season when Walt was unpacking his stuff when he moved back into the house. He kind of looked at it for a second. Don't remember how he got it back?

Now that I'm thinking about it, wasn't that inscription Hank read in the flashback out of Gale's lab notebook?

So many questions?

Does hank go after walt or does he try to suppress the info for fear of shame?

Hank's mind is blown. I predict he will retire and try to runaway from this problem by withdrawing.

Does walt kill hank, once he knows hanks on to him?

Wow!

Not sure what he could do to him if Walt is really out, unless Skyler ratted him out, which is unlikely at this point. Maybe Lydia could be the weak link, who knows. Things are definitely going to get tense now that Hank knows.

Am I just imagining the scene in season 3 where Gale give Walter that book? I swear season 4 is not the first appearance of the book.

If it is back, it looks like he doesn't bother with chemo since he has hair in the opening scene.

I thought that the book in Walt's bathroom was different than the one that Hank found at Gale's.

That is the way it went down, IIRC.

The flash forward that we saw in the first episode is probably going to happen in the series finale.

Has to be. So, who is Walt going after at the end? My guess is he ends up tangling with Todd's uncle's gang. Maybe they decide to shake him down for more money or he and Todd have a falling out. Or maybe they've kidnapped a member of Walt's family for the money after Todd lets slip just how much Walt is worth. Or I guess it could be the gang he is cooking for now in the States (if he does retire and they get pissed).

It will be a shame when this ends.

Judging by that crushed paper towel dispenser, I think it is.

Just went and popped in the Season 4 DVD to check. Hank read the following inscription out of Gale's lab notebook: "To W.W. My Star, My Perfect Silence". Walt convinced him that it was Walt Whitman because of something else he had seen in the notebook.

So Hank probably never had the poetry book that he found in the bathroom. It was something Gale must have given to Walt.
