If walt is out, whos cooking for lydia/madrigal and for declan and his crew?
I think jessie is going to be forced to cook while walt goes into hiding.
Hank is screwed. He's a prideful man, info about his brother in law as a big time dealer would kill his career and reputation.
I think walt goes back to get jessie and save his life.

His biggest worries are prob the gang he just paid to kill the 10.
He can kill Lydia and the madrigal issue is gone and skip town and not have to worry about the crew that wanted the methyamine(sp).
Easiest solution: move to a country that doesn't extradite

I think this epsiode establishes that madrigal is in the drug distribution business. I had thought previously that lydia was a rogue.

Not sure why that would be a worry, they have nothing to do with his meth business. They got paid for their deal. I think his main worry would be Declan and his crew, though originally they were trying to pay him to quit cooking, so who knows.
Todd would be the one with the most reason to be annoyed. Though after nearly 3 months of cooking, maybe he knows what he's doing.

Strong episode. The montage of killings was perfectly done.
I feel like I'm watching a pitcher go into the 9th with a perfect game with the final season. The series has been so good, perfect even, and I don't want to see them blow it on the final season.
I have no reason to think that the final season will be any less spectacular as the show just keeps getting better and better. I just hope they keep on keep on keeping in like they're doing for a few more episodes.

I just checked all season 3 episodes that had Gale and Walt interactions and he never gave him the book on screen. I could have sworn there was a scene when he gave him the book in the lab... However, I know for sure that the book is shown multiple times throughout season 5.
Yes there were two books, Hank was reading a copy from Gale's lab notes that the APD gave him when he jokingly accused W.W. of being Walter White, not the book in Walter's bathroom. The writings were also completely different. Hank recalls the quote in the lab notes after he reads the front of Walter's book.

s5e3, Hazard Pay, recap:
Walt's former partner under Gus comes back in two ways this episode. First, we see Walt pull out his copy of Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass, which Gale quoted to Walt. Interestingly, Walt gives the book a small smile and a grunt, as if to say "oh yeah, that guy."
and then,
...Hank is smart, and there’s a voice he’s trying hard not to listen to that keeps telling him to look closer at his brother-in-law. Walt placed Walt Whitman’s Leaves of Grass on his nightstand. That’s significant because of how close Hank came to suspecting Walt thanks to Gale’s journal, but maybe also foreshadowing.
They were spot on.

You dont need a scene to show the book exchange to establish a connection between walt and gail.
The connection is made with the inscription. W.W is walter white.
In one instance the pieces fit together (missing gas masks from walts school chemlab, jessie pinkman connection, newfound riches, rare purity of this meth, weird behavior)

I could be wrong but I remember Gale telling Walt about Whitman and reciting a poem in the lab. The first time we saw the book was Walt reading it in his condo when Hank calls about the RV. It's been a while since I rewatched the earlier seasons so I could be wrong.
