The writers wouldn't do that. It's a yin yang thing they are going for and will make Jesse a good guy that has this revelation. He will go from criminal to good guy and Walt goes from middle class everyday dude to pure evil.

The only question is who wins?

Not getting drawn into a Law and Order episode stretched out into a series.

It's not like that. The cop is also a bad guy and a PoS.

People brah. I see why he was supposed die season 1. Character is weak. An emotionally weak meth dealer. Who da thunk.

I think he adds a lot to the show, even when he shows the weak side. He adds an element of moral complexity; stops the show from being unbelievable. Almost as if it was an average joe like you or I doing what he does. You also get to see his meth game savvy grow as the show goes on; he goes from being a complete idiot to being a capable meth cook with pretty good ideas in sticky situations (the railcar with methlamene, the magnet).

He didn't just make it up, we would have to assume he saw it at some point. Just goes with everything else he started doing

not relevant to this episode, but was there ever an explanation as to how saul knew about gus being a big meth guy and having his information to give to walt?

Remember late season 2

Saul was telling Walt and Jesse about Gus

"From what I hear, he's alot like you"

Referring to Walt being Similar to Gus

I know many are Jesse fans or hank "the morally good guy" fans, but I'm rooting for Walt.

I always thought the main point of the series was to build up your love of Walt and then tear it down, which it has done for me.

I love Walt's character because it's one of the most well developed I've seen in any medium, but I hate him at the same time. It's an interesting dynamic.

I actually don't hate him. I want him to build an empire and crush everyone else. I like to see the guy that was shite on win.

If this was just episode 1 of the season I can't even imagine what the last episode is going to be like.
