meh...i'm glad they didn't do this.
That's why the people on this board aren't Vince Gilligan.

Same facial expression as when he was at the doctor's office.

The song el Paso is about a girl named Felina.

Walt sold himself as desperate and broke. Frisking him was a formality, they really had no fear of him nor reason to think they should.
That's what I keep telling myself... Still not buying it, considering it would take all of 2 seconds... OTOH, I did believe Uncle Jack was stupid enough to try to prove something to a man he was about to kill anyway. He thought he was in control of the situation, so why not put Walt in his place?

It's seed money for opening his breakfast chain Flynn's that will serve the blue waffle in honor of Walt.

I think it was more a case of them imagining that they were outsmarting the chemistry nerd who they thought was coming to sell his services.
They didn't have the ability to comprehend that this was, in essence, a suicide mission and that Walt was letting himself get set up.
In their defense, they weren't alone. A lot of posters on this board (including me) were wondering how he was going to magically train himself on the BFG and go all HeisenRambo.

I knew he had to cook one more time!!
I was really hoping he would start to do a cook too
But this was a beautiful finale. It was near perfect. It was fun, intense, sad, even a bit happy, and fully conclusive.

He never sampled his meth.
I was hoping he would just start dicing and snorting in the final scene.
