concerning the "blue meth".....it is possible to make it blue and not be Jesse or Walts making it. Right before Walt says "say my name" Declan admits to making blue meth by dying it. Walt reminds him that the purity is not as high, but he doesn't care.....I don't think Walt thinks Jesse is alive, but is possible to think it. Definitely think that Jesse kills Todd (thought that as soon as the kid was shot on the motorcycle)....I think he will destroy GM business wise, but not murder them. My money is the ricin is for Lydia.....This is what is so awesome about BB, you really aren't sure what is coming!

If it's reports it probably from law, who test the purity.

We have hashed this out for several pages. Yes, anyone can make blue colored meth.

BINGO. It can be any color, but the purity will never be as high as Walt and Jesse can make it. Declan didn't care, but Declan is out of the picture now.

Think of the Europeans as you would think of Gus. Neither would be willing to play around with a mediocre product for an extended period of time.

To change the subject:

I plan to rewatch from day one in a month or so after this Sunday. I really think it's going to be awesome to watch all the episodes after knowing how it all ends. The things we are predicting now and guessing on will all be known, so it will be awesome to watch things (such as the interview) knowing what they all mean and how they tie in.

I have to wonder why so many think the ricin is for Lydia.

Did I miss something in the show, or is this just a popular theory on this board?

If anything, the ricin is for Walt.

Why would the ricin be for Walt? It doesn't really fit his character to take a slow and painful death IMO.

Or he could poison Brock with ricin for real this time. Have the feds always searching for Jesse.

Put it in his fruit loops he saw him eating

Primarily because it was foreshadowed in the scene with Marie and her therapist.

Although, I suspect that was likely a Gilligan red herring.

If it was solely Walt's process - the pre methlymine product would have been blue.

Correct on the part that it was also a combination of Walts recipe. However, the pre methlymine product was not blue. Go watch the very first episode again as I referred to in my original post.

the fact that she drinks the tea and uses packets of artificial sweetener. The theory is that he will lace a packet with it, I surmise

So what? The discussion here is who can make the pure, blue meth. Not whether or not the original was blue or not.

Good point.

I sort of had in mind that Lydia is not suspected at this time and has the connections and opportunities to make this kind of play and didn't take the time to add that kind of detail to my post.

The person who noted the overarching irony that Walt does all for family and now has no family, citing the knife incident where he screams WE ARE A FAMILY may have nailed the whole deal. How that finally plays out will be interesting. As long as Jesse kills Todd and gets away, I'm good.
