So I was just thinking about the last episode and I believe we all agree that Hank's death is clearly foreshadowed in that phone call with Marie, but I believe they also tell us exactly how he dies....

He gets his brains blown out.

I think Hank and Gomey are history, but WTF are the Nazis gonna do with Walt and Jesse? Jesse's bound to spill the beans that Hank is Walt's BIL, and that's not gonna go over well. I think Walt's buried money is history.

Today I was thinking about getting my dad the DVD set when it comes out so he can watch the whole series. It got me thinking that he might be missing out on discussions or thoughts like this thread. How much enjoyment did we all get thinking or discussing about what happened next when he will just immediately pop in the next episode.

Walt tipped the Denny's waitress a hundred dollar bill on a grand slam (former servers on the OT still think that's too low) and he gave the arms dealer a huge envelope full of cash (believe he said $40k, but maybe he didn't).

He's got paper stacks somehow.

As for Carson's theory about the gas masks, maybe Walt does come back ABQ to cook, fricks with the formula a bit to get everyone all disorientated, retrieves his weapon and goes Richard Harrow on their Manziel asses.

only way i see hank coming out alive is that he is severely wounded and the gang lets him live while walter is in the car. they let him live so they can have walter have the last word and confront him or whatever before they kill him, etc.

who knows?

It kind of already happened Chief. They got behind the suburban. Not saying they make it out of the desert alive but if Hank was going to die from that first shootout, it would've happened last Sunday.

The dumb writing would be to lessen the impact by doing it a week later at the beginning of the next episode.

no idea. it doesnt have lithium in its chemical makeup

Lithium metal can be used as a catalyst. i.e. the "metal shavings" Walt uses.

Haven't posted in awhile, but I don't see how anyone can think Hank lives. I'm just surprised they didn't just end that scene with him and his sidekick going down in that hail. Assault weapons drilling them and them firing handgun and shotgun back.

also, Walt would be dead too if it were real life. Those fools blasted that SUV he was in.

How about Jesse? How many people think Jesse lives through the fire fight? How many think he's still alive on down the road for the start of the final episode?

I think he lives and is alive at the start the last episode.

Pretty sure from some things I've read, such as the latest EW article, that he was on set for the last episode filming, but that doesn't mean he was still alive, of course.

I'd be shocked if Jesse isn't alive for the final episode.

Something just occurred to me, if Hank and Gomez die then nobody will be alive who knows that Huel is waiting at the safe-house! He's just gonna sit there forever.

New theory: Hank and Gomez die, Walt splits the money with the nazis and Jesse and moves off happily ever after in NH. Then on his 52nd birthday, it occurs to him, "What about Huel?". He vows to get the big guy out of the DEA safe house and buys an M-60 to shoot through the one confused DEA agent who's been dutifully guarding Huel for a little under a year.

To me that would just be bad writing.

i was expecting Mr. T to drive his van through the middle of that scene after the first 1000 shots missed on both sides
