Why is the recording even a big deal? In my mind, there are 3 episodes left, and we know Walt is free some time less than a year later with a full beard and a full head of hair. To me, it comes down to who gets killed and who survives. I just don't see any way Walt ends up in prison or anything because of the phone call.

just watched the ep for the 3rd time
does anyone think that the the NNs not wearing gas masks is foreshadowing something? perhaps walt creates the gas like in the first episode and gets em all except Todd?

What if that's just a dream he's having while in prison (or cooking still)?

Relating to Walt's disappearance, it's important because we still don't know what causes him to skip town. He could be running from the DEA, or from the nazis.

Todd's obsession with Lydia (and general psychosis) will come into play somehow.
Did you catch the uncle (or it might have been the uncle's friend) eyeing her up in the lab? Todd doesn't look like the type who will take kindly to being cuckolded

They were also eyeing the waitress at the restaurant... Didn't read too much into it other than they are creeps...

I was waiting for him to lick that coffee mug or something creepy

This whole show is about Jesse and Walt's relationship and the opposite paths of their morality. It's not about Team Jesse and Team Walt.
I'm not on either team (save that shite for teenage girls) but I was responding to people who think Jesse is a "good" guy now. I've been clear Walt should get what's coming to him, just not from a rat who was there the whole way. I also didn't realize you own the internets, but if you can't handle it

In the end, they will once again be on the same side instead of pitted against each other.
You might be right. One of them has to die it seems, and more and more I don't think it will be Jesse. Walt may save him as his last redeeming quality to his other son.

25 Amazing Callbacks from the Final Season of Breaking Bad
A bunch of these have already been figured out here, but there were some new ones to me. I remember some people here speculating on the scene where the Nazis are wiping blood off their shoes in the restaurant.
Carson, I seriously think you found the 26th callback

Since he has an M-60 with what I would think is an intent to kill a group of people, I would have to say the nazis.

some are a bit far fetched. But yes, that link is pretty cool.

Yeah no doubt.
I thought of another one...Hank using the cell phone picture to trick Huell is a callback to the cell phone pic he sent to Walt of Gonzo (that also tricked Walt)

The pool at the hotel and the meth cooking is mind blowing.

there's just no way the plot can advance with hank alive.
I love how people make such broad, definitive statements like this.

wish we knew how he exactly recruited Gomie into the scheme. Prior to him showing up in Hank's living room, he was walking out of his office pissed that Hank was improperly using a detail on Jesse.
I assumed he realized Gomie was pissed and might go say something to someone else about Hank not following orders, so he told him, "look this is what I'm actually working on."

give me a scenario where hank makes it out of the desert alive.
what better way to make walt go into hiding than having the blood of two higher-ups in the DEA on his hands?

But where does becoming a RAT make all this right?
Damn, man. Did you get screwed over by someone that ratted on you to the cops? You keep emphasizing that big time in every one of your responses.
