Walt and Jesse will be forced to cook together, one last time.

For everyone bitching about the realism in the ending:
They were far away and Hank and Gomez were already partially behind the truck.

Felina
Ozymandias - That's pretty obvious I think. Walt is Ozymandias and his empire has crumbled around him.
Felina- Lots of great angles on this, but I was also thinking of the Marty Robbins song "El Paso". The song is about a man who kills someone and has to flee, but comes back alone and outgunned against impossible odds to make it to the woman he loves. He makes it back to her just before he dies. All of the cat references for Felina are interesting, the Fe Li Na post was interesting, plus the anagram for "Finale".
A few thoughts:
- Hank and Gomie are definitely dead. Hank won't die right away, he'll live long enough to say something to Walt
- Jesse was supposed to die in season 1, so I'm thinking he still dies. His death will be part of Walt's descent. I don't think they kill Jesse in the firefight, but I do think they kill him at the end of this episode, probably for Walt refusing to cooperate with them.
- He flees alone to New Hampshire at the end of the next episode after Jesse is killed to distance himself from his family, thinking that he is a danger to his family if he stays with the NNs after him
- While he's in New Hampshire the NNs (with Lydia's help) find his family, trash his house, and take Skylar and the kids hostage to force him to cook for them.
- The Ricin is for Lydia
- The gun is for the Nazi compound.
- Walt saves his family, but dies in the process as a result of his crimes, not from cancer.

If by the end of that shoot out both hank and gomez aren't dead motherfrickers ill be beyond pissed off. I feel like hank dies just because of the phone call to his count wife. I really wanted the pink mist when he was on the phone with Marie though. Oh well, her finding out that Heisenberg killed her husband would still be sweet enough.
Oh, and I want jesse to die a slow and painful death. bitch. He's the ultimate coward.

If Walt and Jesse do cook one last time together there better be one hell of an epic cook song to accompany the montage. Any suggestions?

HOLY shite!!!
I will now read the thread, but I was getting completely aggravated with this episode. Walt would never have said all that on the phone. And Jesse would want his phone.
The episode was a little weak all the way till when Hank made that phone call. You knew right then and there, he was dead. Good.
I hope a stray bullet pierced Jesse's huge gaping vagina. I don't get how people on here think Jesse or Hank are "good" guys. They are trash. When you go to breaking the law, like Hank has, then you have no right to judge others. I only hope Gomez survived, but I highly doubt it.
It's funny to hear that pussy Jesse to keep using the word "bitch" cause that's exactly what he is. He knows Walt is dying and yet he wants to take away everything from Walt's family?
I'm now Team Walt. I was staying out of this shite

just rewatched episode and i dont see Gomez getting shot
my thoughts and questions
1- is there any scenerio where hank and gomez are alive?
2- if you are outmaned by that much why do you keep getting up and shooting back?
3- this episode was badass, you guys are like those pussies who host the podcasts that bitch about every little thing like the camera angles and music in certain scenes, etc. dont worry, it will be over soon and The Bachelor and 2 and a half men start soon.

my observations (dont think they've been pointed out yet)
1. walt's greed ultimately is his downfall. the clues were there:
- 'jesse is no rat' <- walt blinded by his love for jesse refusing to question where he is
- saul stopping by car wash and saying huel is missing
- even after the pic of the 'money' walt fails to think its a trap and is freaking out speeding out of town to get 'his money'
- jesse telling walt he was gonna pay on the pay phone call last episode
summary - walt lost his edge. there were enough clues to add up to jesse was playing him and he slipped up.
2. i agree the scene with walt & brock will come into play at some point where he gives him the poison. i think its going to be ugly and show just how callus walt was at administering the poison. holding him down? intravenous? force feeding/drinking? how did it actually go down?
3. yep hank is dead
- marie wearing black
- 'i wont be home for awhile'
- 'its going to be a rough couple of weeks but it will get better'
MARIE PISSED
4. regarding walt; no way nazis leave without him. he must go to cook for them, then find a way to kill them and escape and go back for his family/lydia whoever.
even if somehow the tables turn..and walt doesn't get caught by the nazis..HE'S SITTING ON TOP OF 6 BURIED BARRELS OF MONEY. he can easily open one up and take enough money to hide until he's ready to strike back.

THIS
when they showed the close up of hank & gomez, then the close up of the nazis, they looked closer together than they actually are.
couple that with being shot back at and its entirely plausible hank/gomez (professional cops) make it to cover.
during the 'put your weapons down' scene, they were already thinking how to get to cover and the nazis weren't disciplined..they didn't start firing at once..one guy started shooting then the rest followed suit.
MYTH = confirmed

How did nobody in this thread not notice that Gomez was shot in the stomach?
I'm really surprised by the amount of people that think Walt goes Rambo with an M60. Not his style. He wasn't comfortable with the .38 and now he gets an M60 to get back at the Nazis where he is outnumbered? Guys, that doesn't fit.

Then who do you think Walt uses the M60 on?
Posted on 9/9/13 at 7:20 am to jmarto1
Thoughts:
1) I admittedly was over-thinking but hey, Walt's ability to stay ahead of the game sometimes borders on the supernatural. It's clear though now that: Walt had no idea Jesse had turned and Hank was listening to all his voicemails to JP.
2) Walt probably got to believing his press clippings that he was "the devil," thinking he could make things right with Jesse. As Saul said, Jesse probably wouldn't be interested in having a "nuanced conversation" about poisoning Brock. While Walt has indeed almost become "the devil," he proves he's human by being fooled by Jesse and compounding it by screaming the confession on the phone, much like he was fallible by leaving the Leaves of Gold book on the toilet in the guest bathroom, not thinking Hank was in there when he came over.
3) Walt apparently had resigned himself to jail, which means he is indeed dying of cancer. I kinda wondered if he was faking it.
4) I think Hank and Gomey both meet their maker in the shootout, which means Walt's money is ostensibly safe, unless the nazis find it or Jesse hires a search crew. The money has to play a part in the M60 machine gun flash-forward. But hey, surely Walt stashed a million or two somewhere for easy access.
5) I was aware over the years that Breaking Bad was a great show, but never watched it. I was one of those who got Netflix on my new HDTV in late June and binge-watched the first 4 1/2 seasons in about a week and a half to catch up just in time for the final half of the final season. I am gonna miss this show when it's over.
6) Great tv series' are different now. Gunsmoke may have lasted 20 seasons, but now, a great series tells a story in a finite amount of time and wraps it up. I'm trying to be realistic, but using any criteria you want to and spanning some 65 or so years of television, I think BB has to be at least top 5 of the greatest tv series' of all time.

I don't necessarily think it is for him to use on someone or at the very least it isn't in the traditional sense. Him unloading with an M60 is just not his style. The non lethal bomb he used when meeting with Tuco is. I would love to see him get the cartel to fight the Nazis somehow. That would be fun.
