Yeah girl on a train is awful.

While I'm all for hating her books, she didn't write that one.

Sharp Objects
Dark Places
Gone Girl

All two words. Christina Hendricks is supposed to be in the movie Dark Places. That story is actually pretty interesting, so I may give the movie a shot. The book drags, but they will have to clean it up for a movie anyway.

I could've sworn it was her that wrote it but you are right it was Paula Hawkins.

I enjoyed Girl on the Train. However, I also enjoyed Gone Girl.

I read Sharp Objects and tried to read Dark Places but just couldn't. After reading those I've wondered about Flynn's mental state.

Oh yeah. True about so many horror/thriller authors. How do they come up with that stuff. I'd say I'm just as bad for loving it all though.

Nah. I am of the belief that we aren't as bad for enjoying it as they are for imagining it!

I've told people before that I think I have a ton of qualities of a serial killer. Thankfully, I also have empathy and morals.

Andie was so freaking sexy in the movie. Love that chick.

I liked the movie better. Book started to piss me off near the end and the ending was infuriating and totally unbelievable.

I thought the book had more closure. I liked it.

My Friend Denise has a part in Dark Places. She plays Crystal, she was also Mara on Friday Night Lights. Charlie Theron is in Dark Places too. I haven't read the book though, but the secret society angle seems interesting.

I've read all her books and liked them quite a bit in that summer beach read kinda way. Sharp Objects made me feel unclean.
