Several questions. Is it the penultimate fighting move for you? Is it Jean Claude Van Dame’s best movie? How can you not like this movie?

Obligatory

For the haters

Who’s feeling good?

Kickboxer, Universal Soldier, and Cyborg are up there for the other three top JCVD movies as well.

ETA: Angelina Jolie in Cyborg 2 was FIRE

But yeah, the movie for fighting...is well...

Even though Frank Dux was a phony.

To think as kids we believed the end credits...because they portrayed this movie " based on real events " back when we didn't know that proclamation was just movie industry gibberish.

Who doesn't like Bloodsport? It is the ultimate, "No fricks shall be given, we're just going to make a fricking radical fricking movie," movie.

Best of the Best

James Earl Jones as an expert in martial arts stretches suspension of disbelief. Also couldn't Tommy have won everybody the gold if he just went and swept the guy's leg or something to knock him down in the last fight? He didn't have to go for a kill shot to win.

That’s the point. Tommy never wanted to win. He wanted to kill, and everyone knew it (including Dae Han Park). In the end, Tommy’s choice was to save the man’s life.

That’s why Dae Han gave Tommy the medal. He knew Tommy won the real fight at the cost of the fake one.

Then he thought better and didn't kill him. He could do that and also win.
