I started this last night and got 2 episodes completed. I like what I see so far. Worth continuing? TIA

I actually got a few episodes in and quit before picking it back up.

I think it gets progressively better, TBH

Yes, I almost gave up after the 1st episode. It gets progressively better. The acting and the writing are top-notch!

The first two episodes are pretty lame. The first season is just 'meh'.

But it's gotten better and better.

This season that just ended was really great. Probably the show I most looked forward to every week other than the Americans.

Took me a season to stop picturing him as Brody from Homeland.

And took me 2 seasons of Homeland to stop picturing him as Winters from Band of Brothers.

It's a highly entertaining show to watch if you're willing to suspend critical thought.

It became a show I will only occasionally watch after an episode where an Assistant U.S. attorney released a convicted federal prisoner in exchange for information.

No prosecutor, including the fictional Chuck Rhodes, possesses that kind of authority.

The show is riddled with these types of sloppy mistakes. Timelines are also iffy. Storylines that should take months if not years to play out occur simultaneously with other storylines that require far less time.

But I will watch on occasion and it does entertain.

It’s worth it just for Wags. One of my favorite characters of the last decade.

In situations of good fortune, I'm still saying, "Whoa! Powerball winner!" which is what Wags said after Axe called and ordered "5 sticks to Wendy's personal account" in Season 1. Axe's subtle reaction really tied that exchange together.

Good show that really took it up a notch this most recent season, excited to see where they go with it next season.

Wags was so pleased when Spiros came in asking about if they forgot to schedule his comp meeting. His face lit up with joy.

Binged the first two seasons in about a week. I'm hooked. Can't wait to dive into season 3

There is no such animal as a truly well written TV show. There have been a few worthy of consideration but all, at times, succumb to lazy writing'

What you pointed out above is an especially egregious example of writers who simply didn't care about reality or their viewer's ability to discern BS.

Timelines are also iffy.

You will find that particular flaw in almost every show you watch. I suspect tying timelines together is a difficult task to accomplish. We all know events don't transpire at the same rate of time, and failure to compensate is a shortcoming intrinsic to TV shows.
