Philip Seymour Hoffman was of course great in Twister as well

"It was windy" - Joe

He was good in the HBO series "Big Love" as well.

Got to get naked with Ginnifer Goodwin before she turned plump.

I couldn't stand the character Bill Henrickson which shows what a good job Paxton did playing him.

This sucks. Sorry for resurrecting this thread but I had to share my condolences with the internet.

Paxton wasn't just funny and memorable in his parts he often provided a significant foil for the protagonist. He added life to nearly every scene he entered.

I am sad he's gone not just because he added so much to the movies he acted in... But because he would have been the kind of older actor who could have been awesome playing a older character who should be despicable but ends up being enjoyable to watch.

I agree with everything you said.

Let's face it, he played a lot of minor roles...But in generational movies.

The guy is a legend...And Aliens.

What does everyone remember Aliens by?

A seminal movie.

Not Siguourney, not Reece from Terminator... It's the comedic relief of Paxton. He stole the show.

He's in a lot of our favorite movies.

That can't be understated.
