The power this week was that the people that played in the BB Bucks thing got to bet on a veto player, and if that veto player won the veto, then they also got a veto. So Alyssa won the veto, and Ky bet on her. So both Alyssa and Ky now have a veto. Ky plans on using his on Claire and replace her with Brit. Alyssa won't use hers.

Tiff really didn't have that much to do with it.
Ky obviously isn't going to put up SB because that would look super sketchy and he's close to her. And he doesn't want to take DX out either for the same reasons.
I think he originally wanted Claire out, but DX got super sketched out about that and was obvious about it yesterday. So since Ky doesn't want to take DX out this week, he has to calm him down by taking Claire off the block.
X doesn't want Alyssa to go because he claims he just lost Christian last week, so it wouldn't be fair to take Alyssa from him this week. Plus there's an argument that is Alyssa is gone, then there's more of a chance a non-CO member might put X and Ky up together.
So he's left with Brit because there's really not anyone left. Plus she has the 100 BB bucks, taking that off the table is also a plus.

Thanks. I didn't realize DX and Claire were that close. Still I think for Ky's game now Claire is gunning for him

They are close, and DX has always viewed Claire as in his final 4 plans. But what was freaking DX out was the fact that he was under the impression that Ky and Claire are both in the Detectives (the alliance the Queens and DX made to combat the Kings back when the Royal Flush was a thing). And Ky and Dx had talked last week about continuing the Detectives and possibly bringing in either SB or Hannah. So when Ky threw up Claire out of the blue, it freaked DX out.

Not unless Big D self evicts. DX and Claire have already brought the idea up to Hannah and Tiff, and they immediately shut it down. There's no way anyone in the Cookout is turning at this point in the game.

Just caught up and wtf the show hasn’t mentioned “the detectives” once

That's why I do live feeds and/or keep up with what's happening via Jokers and/or BB Reddit . As a matter of a fact, I usually don't even watch the Sunday or Wednesday shows, just the live one on Thursdays. The show is incapable of showing everything that is happening in the house. You can't fill 24/7 worth of gameplay into 3 one hour shows, especially when they try and include goofy crap that has nothing to do with gameplay.

I actually think Claire is a good player who’s flying waaay under the radar before now. Reminds me a lot of Kasey from 19 (even though she won like 3-4 comps toward the very end)
